Daddies new grill and Backyard camping

This weekend we did something so fun that both girls can't wait until next year when we can do it again. We took a camping trip with the Parks and Rec :-)

On the way over we saw this. Yes, it is the world's largest grill. There it was, on the way over to the park and I just had to get a picture. DH wants one Bad! He even reminded me that he could drive it around since he still has his CDL license. Just think of the tailgate parties you could have with that sucker :-) Posted by Hello

Once there the kiddos attempted to help us put up the tent. Unfortunately for us, their help included whining and crying that it was too hot ant they were hungry and thirsty. Of course all complaining stopped dead once we got over the the playground.
Here is Princess going down the corkscrew. The picture isn't the same without the sound effects "ow, ow, ow, ow ..." Note for self, corkscrew + skort = funny sound effects :-) Posted by Hello

Boss lady fooling around on the slide. I don't know what was making the static electricity but we just had to get a picture of her hair. Posted by Hello

After dinner, we were entertained by Red Hawk Posted by Hello

He told stories, taught us a few Cherokee words, and played his flute. He's a wonderful entertainer who kept most of the group highly entertained. Princess was especially fascinated since she recently learned that her great, great grandmother was a Choctaw Indian. Boss Lady couldn't have cared less, she was waiting for the s'mores. We got his CD and listened to it on the way home.

One more pic :-) (I just had to play with PSP a little)Posted by Hello
