If you've been wondering why I haven't posted lately it's because I was visiting my Mom in NY. I love my Mom but I hate hate hate her lousy internet connection. She lives out in the middle of nowhere and claims she can't do any better (no, her phone company is too cheap to fix the problem and cable is to expensive for her) I tried a couple of times to update my Blog but the connection was so bad (22K) that I couldn't even bring up my page.

The girls had fun. We spent nearly the whole week with my big sis and her kiddos. Went shopping (but didn't find any LYS), to the Zoo, and even went to this huge playground. I'm talking enormous playground, it was 10 times the size of the largest playground here in Richmond! I was able to finish a Barbie ball gown in complete piece (wow what a rush!) We left a bit earlier that we planned to get ahead of Katrina but I was getting anxious to get home anyway (love my Mom but there is a reason I live in VA rather than up there)

The weather was Perfect; Highs in the 70's lows in the 50's. This is one thing I am definitely going to miss here in the sweatlands.

I'll post pictures later, first thing I need to to is Clean! I was so tired we just threw everything down so now there isn't even a pathway anymore :-( I'm also thinking of starting up my other Blog "Adventures in cleaning land" again, hmmmmm.
