So, I thought I would give y'all a progress report Let's see, I've finished knitting all three Christmas scarves. But I do need to add the fleece back to the crime of fashion scarf. I'm just waiting until November 10th to buy it (when it goes on sale at Joann's for 50% off). I still have one more Christmas gift to make, a hat for my niece, but I want it to match the scarf my mom is making for her. I know what yarn she used, Fun Fur, but I don't know what color way. Whenever I ask her about it, I get the same old song and dance I get when I ask for the Carrot Pudding recipe. You know the one:

Me: "Can you tell me ...?"
Mom: "Don't you know? I know I told you."
Me. "No, I've asked many times but you haven't told me."
Mom: "Oh, OK ... I'll have to find it and let you know next time you call."
Me: "{silent grrrrrrr}"

Now repeat that same sequence the next time, and the time after that, ad infinitum.

I did pick up my needles and made this:Princess has claimed this as her own so I'll be making another one (opposite color way) for Bossy.

Now for some insights into my world.

I call this "Why I don't Iron":
This was after setting up the ironing board then going back to get the iron. You can see the pattern pieces I was going to press under Rascal.

I call this masterpiece "These scissors can only cut paper? ... Yeah right."
With wonderful moments like these is it any wonder I'm going completely insane?
