The quest for gold

I didn't finish my sweater, although I tried my best for most of the competition. Unfortunately my darling family saw fit to give me this really nasty stomach virus. You know you can't knit well when you have to run to the bathroom every few hours. This is as far as I got:

That's a completed back, one sleeve, and the complete bottom edging on the front. I say I qualify for the Bronze - what do y'all think. Do I get a Silver if I complete it within the next 5 days (the number of days this virus had me down)?

Even though I didn't get the Gold, I'm really pleased with my effort. I kept to one project and didn't even once think about putting it away for something else! This is a major accomplishment all by itself. Add to that, I really love how this sweater is coming out and you got one happy Olympian, and really isn't that what this whole competition was all about anyway?

Damn straight it is. And it looks lovely. Also, I totally understand the difficulty of doing anything while having to continuously bolt to the bathroom.

Good job. You deserve bronze--looks beautiful.

The sweater looks really pretty! I hope you'll still finish it. Deadlines are for losers anyway. ;)
