Ok, you remember in my last post I put that I reached the point for the bust shaping? You know, what you do right before the armhole - and when you are nearly done with the front piece? Well look at my sidebar. Notice something? Yep, I went
backwards! My lovely children, or their father, or even possibly the cats decided to "play" with my knitting. Not only did they get rid of the crib sheet I had for keeping track of where I was (a horrible offense on its own), NO they also had to TAKE THE
NEEDLES OUT! Not only causing the front to partially unravel, but leaving me with no freaking clue where I am in the pattern!
Oh yes, I tried unraveling farther to some of the recognizable points in the pattern (like the increases for the side shaping) but I couldn't get the stitch count to even out. IE there was more stitches on one side of the front panel then there were on the other. I ended up unraveling the entire front to try again.
Try again I did, and failed! Cast on the correct number of stitches, did the 4 rows of garter stitch, started the pattern and had and extra 6 stitches WTF!
I am obviously to upset over this problem to correct it today. Put the thing away, maybe next week I can pick it back up again. In the meantime,

Oh that sucks. I'd be homocidal. Try not to hurt anyone. :( Good luck getting back to where you were in the pattern.
